Michelangelo
Michelangelo buonarroti was born on March 6, 1475 and died February
18, 1564. His family was pretty big you could say with a father ludocivo di Leonardo
buonarotto simoni and Francesca di neri del minia. And four brothers who where
buonarroto buonarroti, Gismondo buonarroti, Giovan buonarroti, and Leonardo buonarroti.
His father was a magistrate which was like a political figure and I didn’t read
anything about his mother but his mother did die when Michelangelo was 6.
Michelangelo had very little education because he really did believe it was
necessary but when he did go to school is teachers name was Francesca urbino. I
couldn’t find a marrage or a wife’s name anywhere but I did find out that Michelangelo
did have a thing for a man who wrote poems to each other. Michelangelo had a
few struggles with his work, he faced conflict between his genius and his
reputation and would constantly be stopped by that conflict. Next he faced the
death of his patron Lorenzo de medici which almost crippled him as an artist. Lastly,
people often said he lacked grace and gentility. Michelangelo was a sculptor in
the renaissance and some of his famous works include Sistine chapel, David,
pieta, Moses etc. 2 pieces I liked were definitely the Sistine chapel and David
because ones a painting and the others a sculptor. And I really liked the
designs of the Sistine chapel.

Probably one of the most famous artists of all time...so many recognizable works.
