The real
cause of death
The death of Rick Payne at the age
of 59 was pre-meditated, and there was thought and action into the death of
this man and I have proof. I starts at 3 a.m. and rick Payne is in bed
comfortably asleep underneath his blankets of silk when he was awaken by a
specific noise that the door in the back made, the noise was a tuned screech
that is so unique you quickly come accustomed to the noise. So he opened his
eyes to a child with black eyes and gray skin and black fingers. The older man awoke up in a flash, dumbfounded with the thought of who this child is and how he got here. So in his raspy voice he mutters what are you doing he buddy, the kid just keeps staring into the dark soul of the old man and not moving at the sight of the old man. So the old man flicks the small table side lamp on with a click and as the old man reaches his glasses the kid lunges like a creeping jaguar in the brush of the jungle towards its prey. Grabs the old man by the neck and bites as the long intentioned teeth quickly turned into needle like devices the old man spasms in way to try and get the boy off of him, he thrashes and whips his arms back and forth not budging the boy. Until the man falls to the floor white like a ghost with no sense of life left in him, the kid stands up wiping the blood from his mouth he vanished instantly without a trace. It took 16 hours until the neighbor stumbled upon Rick Payne’s body and called local authorities to try and figure out what happened. Sheriff Johnson was the man trying to figure out what happened he searched of possible intrusion but no signs then he tried looking for a weapon but no luck. So he awaits the arrival of the coroner to diagnose the cause of death and maybe seek validation for the loved ones. Coroner Anderson arrived at 6 p.m. that day and as usual he analyzes the dead man and comes to the utterly terrifying conclusion that this man in fact died of natural causes, because he had a heart attack and there were no bite marks or lacerations no bruises, not even scratches. I was there that night and I have proof, my proof is my own sight but as the complications of today’s governmental systems I can’t tell them that it was….

Writers as Readers
Tanner Zeolia
1.
My ideal environment is somewhere quiet, calm,
and cold. I would also have my headphones in with my music blaring full blast,
my room would be cold because I love the cold in my room and I would have a
blanket on my lap with my theoretical laptop as well. I wouldn’t have food
because I simply don’t want any distractions and I feel that one.
2.
The genre’s that interest me are Stephen king
horror and Edgar Allen Poe suspense, I used specific names because I feel like
those two authors are the best way to express the genre’s. I love not knowing what’s
going to happen next and in horror I love being scared or forced to think in a
different way.
3.
I try and emulate the style closest to Stephen king
because he’s my inspiration for why and how I write because I’ve grown up
reading his work and I love how he writes and what he writes. I honestly don’t
have authors who I don’t like or stay away from because I try and stay within
my theoretical “bubble.”
4.
One of my best memories associated with reading
is probably when I got the Nightmare and Dreamscapes book from my mom and
staying up all night for a few days to read little scary stories trying to
finish the book and getting in trouble for doing so. It was so worth it staying
up so late and losing precious sleep over a book full of different stories, now
it’s absurd but I admire that time in my life.
5.
Yes indeed I’ve had that type of book and the
book was called “Nightmares and Dreamscapes” by none other than the infamous
Stephen King. I couldn’t stop reading because every chapter or two was a new
story and it grabbed me in and pulled me close to the book. When twilight came
out, it took so long to pull through that I quit reading it off and on over the
span of two weeks. Even though my mom read them and said they were great I just
couldn’t do it with ease like her.
7. The first book I remember reading ever was
probably the classic green eggs and ham. Like honestly that was my childhood
right there, and I used to be so good that I could have recited it completely
from memorization and I liked that about it.
Memorable Passage
Tanner Zeolia
“I wake up.
Immediately I have to figure out who I am. It's not just the body--opening my eyes and discovering whether the skin on my arm is light or dark, whether my hair is long or short, whether I'm fat or thin, boy or girl, scarred or smooth. The body is the easiest thing to adjust to, if you're used to waking up in a new one each morning. It's the life, the context of the body that can be hard to grasp.
Every day I am someone else. I am myself--I know I am myself--but I am also someone else.”

This is an excerpt from Everyday
by David Levithan, and I know I said this in class but this book I could not
put down. It was so interesting and bizarre, I mean imagine waking up in a
different body every day, different race, gender, age I mean it would be scary
to me.
This paragraph I pulled from
the book is something in my opinion that sums up the whole book in a simple
paragraph. I looked at this excerpt in a way that I understand what the main
character is talking about, he saying that he gotten used to the fact that he
simply has gotten numb to the fact of changing bodies every night. And for me I’ve
never experienced it obviously but I can relate in a sense of every day I wake
up and every day I feel different whether I’m happy or I’m mad or I feel sad
because I’m wired different and he has to deal with a different person a
different way and in a small way I’m the same way because sometimes it’s
defeating not knowing how the next day is going to feel like and I think that’s
and important part of his struggle.
